Dragon boating is the fastest growing water sport in Australia. This sport is great for fitness and great for growing friendships We paddle up to 3 times each week in the clear waters which flows along 20km of mangroves and bushland to the ocean and the waves of the famous Gold Coast surfing beaches. Palm Beach Dragons have proven to be a competitive club participating in many local and interstate regattas as well as the State Championships. We also like to participate in fund raising and social events We encourage our paddlers to travel and compete in festival style regattas, experiencing varying cultures and have had members compete in most states of Australia, Wellington New Zealand, Penang, Hawaii and Taipei!!
